Using a combination of Belly Breathing, Ujayii Sounding Breath, and Alternate Nostril Breathing /Nadi Shodhana, Padma shows you how to stimulate your nervous system, and clear your sinuses just by breathing. There is no strain in this practice, just deep breathing, from the belly. Breathing at your own pace, your own ability, you will increase your confidence, calm and create a sense of steadiness with which you can connect at any time. This meditation reacquaints you with the natural rhythm of your breathing, while improving your posture, strengthening your abdominal muscles and releasing any pent up anxiety in your body and mind. Duration 20 min Contraindications: if you have asthma, bronchitis or are being treated for any clinical depression, avoid breathwork unless recommended by your doctor or a registered yoga therapist.
