What is our body, our mind, and our traits?

What is our body, our personality, and our traits. It can’t just be hormones and organs controlling everything. Our personality can’t just be our different hormones. Or can it? Also, when we die do we just shut down like a broken toy, or a robot.

Here is a question. If you took a brain from my body and put it in some other body, would the body act like me or that person. I know that this is a hard question, but please go in depth and answer it.
