Both of them turn you relaxed. Meditating on something is like the hypnosis commandant.

I wonder if using a cushion is so important for somebody practicing Zen Meditation?

What are the best introductions to yoga and/or belly dance?

I am looking for a great video that will give me a starting point on yoga–as well as videos that will be more advanced. I am terribly shy so at the moment yoga classes are out of the question. Also if you have any information on belly dance, I’d love to hear about it also since I find it very interesting. Thanks! :)

Briefly explain.

does anyone know any good meditation techniques, or a good web site to go to find information?

Atheists, everyone has a mind and a body but do you believe in the existence of a soul?

If yes, what do you think is the function of the soul? And when we die, does the soul leave the body and get recycled back to earth from the universe?

What’s this type of guided meditation called, where can I get it?

I am interested in a form of guided meditation. Unfortunately I am having great difficulty learning what it is called. Essentially, the narrator on the audio file talks you through a journey where you visualize seeing different things and feeling different things(eg seeing a picture of a tropical island on the wall, now visualize you are swimming in the water towards the island, now feel the sand beneath your feet, and the warm sun on your shoulders). Typically there is music and sounds, quality narrative voice.

Can someone tell me where i can get this?
