Low carb diet for weight loss

You may or may not have heard of the low carb diet. Atkins being the most popular low carb diet in the market. Low carb diets work by changing the way your body burns stored fat. When you eat sugar and starch, your body uses of them what it needs for fuel and stores the rest as fat. A low carb diet works by getting your body to burn the stored fat and focusing on you eating high protein and high fat foods so you don’t gain weight. So you are wondering? How many carbs you should eat a day on a low carb diet? The answer is 20 grams of carbs daily with 12-15 coming from vegetables. You can use splenda or sucrose as sugar substitutes but no more than 4 packets a day. You can buy splenda or sucrose at any major retailer. Also drink at least 8 cups of water a day and you should see weight loss. The atkins diet promises that you will lose 15 pounds your fast two weeks. That varies but it could very well be the case. Stay on the 20 grams of carbs daily until you lose all the weight you want to lose, than try adding cottage cheeses and other low carb foods. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes and sugary foods. Some cheese have zero carbs so snack on chesse. Diet soda is ok but don’t drink too much of it, try to limit to 2 cups a day.

Meditate for at least 20 minutes both in the morning and before you go to bed. Monitor your breath in and out as you meditate , this will help your mind focus and not drift.
